Why We started
The way instruments are rented today can’t keep up with the increasing pace of our everyday lives. From traveling across town to the music store, waiting in line, to finding out what you need is out of stock. It can be very frustrating. We wanted the simplify the process. From online ordering to free delivery getting what you need has never been easier.
Who We Are
New York String Source started in 2019 for musicians, artists, and students. After working in the NYC instrument rental & performance scene we saw first hand how intimidating the process can be. Often parents and students get bad advice, the wrong instrument, or get lost in the shuffle. We decided NYC deserved better.
What We Started
We simplified the rental process by cutting out the traveling, waiting, and confusion. Instead of trekking through the elements, now your instrument comes to you. Ordering from your phone to home, office or child’s school means you don’t have to interrupt your day or even leave the house.
